• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I have 15K on my spyder and have blown two fan relays. Has anyone else had a problem with this or is this something that happens when you drive in stop and go traffic?

Masterpro relays from any auto parts store. I've found the best prices at O'Rilies. I replaced all the stock units on the 08s and have had no more failures. Ken krb1945

Ken, do you have the part numbers on those?

I know Lamont had posted a while back that you can also replace them with Duralast 19721 relays which should also show 41-5100 on the box.

I've got an 08, getting on towards 17k and never an issue of any kind with my relays. Wonder why some have such dismal service and others have no issues... Guess there isn't a good answer other than luck of the draw.

I heard through the grapevine that Tyco had a Lot that were not up to spec and they shipped them anyway. Just like when Texas Instruments shipped the lithium batteries that did not meet spec. They got caught when the batteries were failing in the sparrow and sidewinder missiles.

I had to change all the relays in the 08s. After just a few months they were failing at a rate of one a month. That was on two machines. The SE5 has only had one failure.

I believe the masterpro relays are R3110 ,small, and R3109, large. /Ken krb1945
