• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Referral Fee of $300 to Help Sell My Spyder

It's with a heavy heart that I have decided to sell my beloved Spyder! My wife and I are moving to Seattle and we need another car with a roof! I have met a lot of great people at SpyderQuest and other places, and not to mention this board. And while I'm selling, it doesn't mean I'm abandoning... maybe I'll get back into the Spyder game when they introduce the F9!! But for now, it's the adult thing for me to do since my ex and I have agreed that my daughter will be moving with me! And as I know, most of you already have a Spyder that you adore, so it's your sphere of friends that I hope you can influence and get yourself a few extra bucks in the process.

So, with that... I'd like to offer a referral fee of $300 to anyone that directs the buyer to me.

The referral will be verified by the buyer, for confirmation purposes and then I will mail you funds at the sale.

Here is my listing of my Spyder: http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/...-Spyder-STS-**-49-Off-**-Tons-of-Upgrades#top

Check out the link, send it to your friends and relatives and I look forward to seeing you all on the road!

I would like to Wish you the Best with your moving and etc. I hope you find a new home for your spyder.

Do not be a stranger on this site.

Happy Holidays

Good Luck

Good luck on the sale and on the move. Hope all goes well.

My daughter came to live with me when she was 13, and I was not permitted to register her in the local high school until I had the official custody agreement from the court in an adjoining county. This was unexpected, and it took 3 months to get the agreement.

FYI in case you encounter any similar problems.

Good luck Jon. I hope you don't kick yourself for moving to Seattle. After living here for 24 years, I can't wait to get out.

Haha - I think it's all about perspective!! Many may be surprised that I couldn't wait to leave Texas (aka the sun) but the heat just sucks the energy out of me. Plus I'm a water baby so I like the rain, but the real gem of Seattle is the scenery and activities for us!!

I'd love to hear any local secrets, food, places, etc!

Thank you, yeah, I'm talking with a buddy who's an attorney. I wondered about something like that but didn't think about the school needing it until you mentioned it. Always good info on these forums!!!

I'm glad you will be moving to a place more suitable to your nature and that you'll get to have your daughter with you, but I'm sorry you'll be giving up your Spyder. Good luck with the move and with the sale.
