• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

redneck trunk spring

For all of those mechanically dis-inclined people like me I finally figured out a way to do a trunk spring. I tried the other methods listed and since I'm not the brightest bulb in the package I could never get them to work. My trunk got stuck, I didn't have a drill bit to do as Scotty did..... Soooo this is how I did it for now. I'm going to try the compression spring as mentioned and pictured before but for now, this works for me!

What's the Army-branded stuff in your pic? I've been thinking about getting the Army-branded jacket from Power-trip.com, but it doesn't have a mandarin collar.

It's definitely a red-neck version but it isn't harming anything. Just a temporary solution until I get the smarts for something more permanent.

GIJoe, this was my wardrobe for 15 months in the lovely Iraqi climate. The IBA is the thing with the mandarin collar....supposed to help keep shrapnel from penetrating the neck. I cheated and didn't have on the groin protector or deltoid protectors.

I was referring to the picture with the trunk spring. I see something with the Army logo on it. It looks like gloves.

I'm also a Soldier, so I'm very familiar with what you're wearing in your avatar picture.
