There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Record Gas Milage?

22 mpg

I was down about 5 bars when I gassed up today at nearly 100 miles. Fit 3.2 gallons in. For almost right at 30 mpg. Not so groundbreaking I guess. :( still better than the 22 mpg I got on the previous tank.

What happened to 56 MPG ..I can tell you, you are using the most inaccurate measuring device ever invented to try and give you an exact measurment namely your FUEL guage....that thing is a joke.....You fill tank to brim zero the odo,..drive till you fill tank to the brim zero odo...do this at least 10 times add all the miles and all the gals. and divide ....then you will have a reasonable estimate of your average MPG. but it's still only an estimate. My average is 38-39 mpg 08 GS based on about 3000 miles ...and I have the gas receipts to prove it....

I use Fuelly. It gives me an average of All my tanks of gas. I was just seeing what looked to be a really good tank of gas. And it ended up only being slightly better than average.

I for the most part use 87 octane with no ethanol. I put the
Nozzle in half way when filling up. I've been getting between 170mpg to 190mpg per tank. I guess that is average from what I've seen on this forum

I declare Slickrick the absolute uncontested mileage winner..No-one else need apply...:gaah: :agree:  :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:...Mike

I'm getting 29 MPG measured over 3 tanks full since I removed the air deflectors that came mounted below the mirrors on my '12 RS SE5. I'm a big ol' boy though..... 250 lbs nekked. That can't help. I gained a mile per gallon by removing those deflectors.

PICKLEHEAD

hey PICKLEHEAD, i'm retired, and i ride almost every day.... most rides are around 50 - 100 miles or so... but on weekends, i ride with others, and those rides are from 250 to 400 miles... it's fun, JOIN ME...

Boy you sure do get around!

How much did removing those deflectors change the airflow around the bike?
