• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Recommendations for accessories purchases

Well, my local dealer wanted $275 for products BRP shows in the new catalog for $254 - get the idea? I also saw that the dealer invoice on these parts was $144. A visit to our local multi-bike dealer garnered a 30% off retail on any luggage I wanted!!!

I'm looking for recommendation(s) for dealers that will offer fair prices on BRP accessories. FYI - I was trying to buy the soft saddlebag and hard frunk luggage.

Thanks in advance.

Wow... Just wow...

Sorry I cannot be of any help to you locally, but the folks we buy from @ Clem's in Enumclaw have always sold us at or below the MSRP for accessories. :2thumbs:

And like most other dealers I have worked with in the past (May be a local thing) we get a discount on anything we buy because we purchased our ride from them. nojoke:thumbup::ohyea:

I am buying most everything for the new Spyder from: www.louispowersports.com sometimes even free shipping call and talk to Dylan very good prices below retail.

Second that...find everything on ebay and have either your dealer match (like mine does nicely) or just buy from ebay.

I saved hundreds on my givi side bags as my dealer matched the ebay price. For other items, I just bought them from Louis Power Sports...

Don't pay retail when you can get items for a good amount cheaper...

I'll make it a third for Dylan and Louis Powersports. I recently ordered a list of accessories for the RS-S and Dylan was able to average a discount of about 25% and free shipping too. Send him a note with what you're looking for and he will provide prices without obligation. His email address is: [email protected] . Let us know what you decide and how it goes.

I have contacted Dylan as well and found him to be very nice and will work hard to make sure you get what you need at the best possible price. I will be doing business with him for my future parts needs.

I've used SHS powersports with great luck. I don't have much confidence in the integrity or competence of the dealer closest to me. Although I do check in with them occasionally. Mainly just hoping they change things a bit (management), but I'm always dissapointed. Reno's Yamaha in the south KC area is great, but it's tough to find time to get down there.
