• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Rear wheel clicking

I
ALSO, I FOUND A COTTER PIN (two actually one probably from the old tire and the other came with the new back tire) on my garage floor. Would that be the reason for the clicking? It's obviously not where it is supposed to be?

Maybe your Brother left a few around to drive you nuts, Brothers have been known to do things like that!:roflblack:

That is something brothers do! But, he wasn't here for that part of the install or my finding the pins, so I can rule him out as the culprit! :D

I'm tired of taking it apart and putting it together, but looks like I'll have to take some of the panels off again because I can't see where a cotter pin is even supposed to be.

I am looking at this parts list, is there another name for cotter pin? I am trying to figure out where I'm looking for the pin to go.

Hey, Amanda. I was going by memory and thought that there were cotter pins involved in the linkage behind (toward the engine) the right-side peg mounts. There may, or may not, be any there but I seem to recall that there was.

p.s. I tried to get to the BRP Parts On Line site but could not. The schematic you need is for the right side... by the brake pedal.

Yep, I think u r right

I looked and there is supposed to be a retainer pin in the break area on both sides of the spyder. Now I've gotta go out there and see if I can figure out where it goes and if a pin is already there.

Here is another site to get to the parts in case you need it in the future.
