• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Rear View Mirror RTs

EAGLE27

New member
I recently saw a center mount (on dash) rear view mirror for the RT. Of course now I can't find the mirror. Does anyone know the vendor?

Thanks,

Tricled website http://www.tricledusa.com/#!product/prd1/4420380971/180-degree-rear-view-mirror-for-slingshot says it is for a Slinghot.

Anyone know if it works on a Spyder?

Sure does- it mounts on the windscreen or RT dash

not sure i like that, the side mirrors give you a pretty good view and wouldnt you see mostly yourself in that mirror.

was checking out the site and saw this and all i could think of was... TRON!!!
Can Am should try and get the spyder in a Tron Movie or even better get James Bond to have some scene were he is trying to commandeer a vehicle in the streets and the closest is a spyder, he gives a funny look, shrugs and then jumps on it for some big car chase. probably only cost Can Am a couple mil to get them to do it :)

The rider appears in the centre but not overly large. The mirror actually shows from handlebar end to handlebar end on my RT. No more blind spots at all.

Id love to get one of those skullys with the 180 degree rear view camera and "hud" display (or sort of) but they are way overpriced for a company with no helmet track record, not like shoei is making them. The rest of the features (bluetooth radio, calls, gps) you can get in a helmet DOT and ECE approved for around $150, not 1500. Not to mention the fact they have been taking peoples money for pre orders for over a year and still have not shipped a single helmet.
