rear trunk RT-S

Just purchased a factory set of luggage for my 2011RT-S. The rear trunk is missing a strap that holds the factory bag from falling into the lower area of the trunk. Anyone know were I can get one?

You actually need to purchase the optional rear shelf kit for your top trunk. That strap actually holds the shelf up in place... :thumbup:

Hoppnel trunk bag set , has small "basement bag". I figure my fix n flate and tool kit and compressor
can support the upper bag.

Do I need this rear shelf kit to use my can am luggage for the rear trunk?

Exactly what I do. in fact, the lower Hopnel bag holds all my touring tools.

I believe that the shelf is needed, in order to support the BRP luggage's location in the top trunk...
