REAR TIRE

Just put new rear tire on my 14 Rt limited. I put on a kumho, 225/60/16 and it fit perfectly. running 34 lb of air and 20 in the front and the bike handles like a dream. will have to see in time how the new tires wear, but has to be better than that kenda.

I'm on my 2nd KUMHO, with a cumulative of 35,000 miles of smiles and i couldn't be happier.... :bowdown: :yes: :thumbup: :clap:
i'm certain you will witness a 'marked' improvement is performance...

Thought I would get more than the 18,000 that I have on the Kumho Ecsta 225/60R15 I have been running. But 18,000 miles is much better than the stock Kendas before it, plus this one has wore evenly with 28-30 psi in it compared to the center wear on the Kendas with 26-28 psi in them. Plus at $110 out the door at Discount time it fits my pocketbook.

I was wondering the same thing myself. Why did you guys order the 225/60/16? I ordered a 225/50/R15 today from discountiredirect.com also paid $84.00 and I ordered the Federal Evo 165/55/R15 from tires-easy.com they were $63.60 each plus shipping

so sorry, I typed wrong. I put on a kuhmo 225/60/15 not 16. the stock size was a 225/55/15. the 60 is about 1/2 inch taller than stock, thus changing the final drive ratio.

Any noticable power loss, gain etc? What about clearance issues with the frame etc?
