Don't know.....
I've heard (read) comments here that Kenda's have been improved over their famous 6/7k max life OEM tires. As sad as it is you can't 100% trust any dealer/parts person/service manager to be competent or fully knowledgeable about the product they handle. You may trust but you absolutely must verify. They'll BS you trying to make you think they know it all. There's an entire Britannica full of reasons why not to completely trust a dealership. Posters here are an excellent source for verification. I have to go to town in the next couple of days and I'll stop by the dealership and speak to the parts girl about the new tires. She's pretty sharp and if she doesn't know the answer to a question, she has the skills to at least find the answer. The spyder tech is most knowledgeable however they keep him sequestered in the shop away from the public. I'll add to this post or send you a PM.
Thanks 2dogs.....that sounds promising for those of us who would rather have the dealer replace the rear tyre for whatever reason. I wonder if there will be any kind of announcement?
Pete
