• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Rear suspension acting out

Hi,

On my RT LTD 2012 when I am pressing the switch to change the rear suspension setting I am getting a message on the screen saying Manual most of the time instead the regular image that shows the suspension setting.

No any code shows up when trying to read the codes.

I also feel that the rear suspension doesn't work as usual and I cant see the pump functioning.

I am sure the replays I will get here are more informative than my local dealer.

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Getting the MANUAL would indicate that pump not working....Check fuses And relays first..

Freebob...:doorag:

There's a link down near the bottom of the shock... could that have come adrift? :dontknow:
It's that link, that helps the system decide exactly what the ride height is, and what needs to be done about it.

Little checking..!!

all of the above..:roflblack: Start by checking the fuses and relays. Then check the link from the swing arm belt side in the middle by the shock. Should be connected to the swing arm going up to the sensor. Check the pump connections. If all is good and nothing changes put air in manually. If it is a fuse still have it checked to see why the fuse blew. If loose connection reset and go...hope it's simple...

Information

Thanks for the information, I knew I will get more valuable information here than from my incompetent local dealer.

After checking as was recommended here, I found out that even when applying manual pressure using a pump, it will not hold the pressure for more then few minutes.

I did purchase the extended warranty but since the local dealer is very incompetent and will not do warranty work if I don't purchase ant other services (not parts), I have to take the bike 3 hours away, with my wife driving the car leave the bike and come again with my wife to pick it up, at least 4 working days lost at minimum.

Any other ideas are welcome.

Thanks
