• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Rear speed sensor wire

FYI, We just returned from a trip to Yosemite national forest and while cleaning my 2010 RT-S I noticed that the rear speed sensor wire was melted. Apparently the wire was routed with to much slack so that it was in contact with the inside of the muffler. I zip tied it to the brake line to keep it away from the muffler and took it to the dealer in Fresno Ca. The good news is it didn't melt all the way through and the dealer is ordering another one for replacement under warranty. I would have never thought to look there under normal circumstances but am glad I caught it. Just throwing this out there in case other owners might have the same or close to the same situation. The dealer said their not exactly sure what would have occured if it had melted all the way through but I'm thinking it probabley would have been very ugly.
