• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Has anyone replaced the rear shock on a 2014 RT with an Elka stage one. If so how can you get to the preload on the shock when you cannot see it. Have to take the rear trunk assb. it looks like..........

Get the stage 2 with the remote hydraulic adjuster.http://www.elkasuspension.com/spyder-shock-absorbers/
The stage 2 doesn't have the remote, just put them on my Rt a couple weeks ago.
As for adjusting the rear shock spring tension, it's tight but doable (I adjusted mine yesterday & today).
When installing the shock make sure the set screw in the tension ring is facing the left side of your Spyder and then if you need to make an adjustment, laying on the ground, reach over the drive belt and you can get at what you need to make your adjustment...

Well I saw them remove the ENTIRE rear end of the RT , right down to the bare frame .... four gold bolts on top and two underneath that you need a long extension with a swivel ..... according to the guy who actually does this job .... the bolts aren't magnetic :banghead::banghead::banghead:..... so you might want to put a piece of tape in the socket before you put it on the bolt head ....... PS, the seat wasn't on at the time I saw this but I don't think it mattered ....... Mike
