• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Rear rire size

DriftersWay

New member
I'm about to purchase a new rear tire for my 14 RT-L
Going with the General Altimax RT-43
I saw someone post a size that would compensate for speedo
I believe it was a 215/55 R15.
Can anyone tell me if this is right or not.

Thanks

You have a Limited. Just check the new tire with your GPS against the speedometer and you'll know.

SPEEDO

I just put a 205/50 r15 on the back of my 2013 RT. Checked it against the GPS and :spyder2: is going 2 mph faster than GPS....to me that's no big deal....

OEM is 225/50-15

The typical size used to correct for speedometer error is 215/60-15
The 215/55-15 should bring you to within about 1 mph of what your GPS reads...

And....
205/55-15 is just about the same overall diameter as the OEM size.
