rear light upgrade

Is there any one who makes a replacement light for the plate marker light ?
it seems like an waste to have a light that only lights the plate when you can have a double element light that gives a running and stop light plus plate marker.

No one makes a replacement light for the purpose you are seeking, but several have replaced the stock reflector with various working lights. I followed the lead of others and for $5.75 at Walmart and a couple hours, I have a working tail/brake light where the reflector was. See my post of 9/19/09 for description and photos.

BRPjunkie is right there is not a specific replacement for the license plate light/reflector but the possibility are on limited as so many has replaced there's with some sort of a light, as for me I changed mine with a led light that is a running/brake/license plate light (see this link showing what I did http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=3233&d=1248809384 )

I never liked the stock plate light. It is ugly. I went to a after market HD motorcycle shop, and bought a nice chrome Cats Eye tail and plate light. It looks so much better than the stock piece of crap. :2thumbs:

I replaced the stock reflector plate light with a LED light from Kragen and the license plate frame with one that has LED's across the top to light the plate from a motorcycle accessory dealer. I wired the LED's to come on when I apply the brakes to give more rear visibility.
