• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Rear handgrip heaters

Anyone aware of a problem with rear handgrip heaters on 2015 RT-S. Mine are barely putting out any heat at all, nothing like the fronts.

Rear heat 2015 RT-S

I don't think mine work! Haven't ever felt heat but my wife doesn't care....she doesn't use the handles.

Most that have posted on the subject say that the heat output is less on the back heaters.

Output also seems to vary over most :spyder2::ani29:. I have heard reports of hot to luke warm on the highest settings for the front.

Bad units, poor installation of the wiring????????????

These are possibilities to check out.

Like most, I have never used the rear heaters. I would rather have the electronic frunk latch as a built in item. :roflblack: There, I got the rant in one more time.

My wife uses her back heaters all the time and thinks they work great. We got caught in a rain storm a couple months back and she said they really helped her stay warm.

Deb's used the rear heated grips only on low setting so far. As expected, feels the heat more with her summer gloves than with the winter gloves. Having never had a heated grip before, she's a happy lady :ohyea:

 This is gonna sound like a really stupid question, so I'll apologize in advance...
You are aware that the switches to operate the rear grip heaters, are on the passenger grab rails; right?
Sorry... just trying to cover all of the possibilities!
