• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Rear fender broke off??

While on a charity ride today somebody came up to me and told me my fender was rattling, so I looked at it and found out 3 out of the 4 bolts had broken off the support arms? A few zip ties and I was able to get home, was on,y 20 miles but has this happened to anyone and where can I get a decent fender elimanator kit or the original brackets?

Yeah..!!

the GS/RSS/RS had this problem. There is now a fender elimination kit that is like the sport bikes. Some had the braces crack and break off some had the bolts problem. There are fixes depending on what happens. The newer models have a reinforcement wedge on the braces...check with our sponsors on that fender replacement...

Happens a lot

I had to change mine out last summer. Both sides had cracked over halfway thru. I would get them welded up, if you can't find a set cheap. I'm told my rear fender bounces very slightly going down the road, which makes sense of why the brackets crack. Too much fender, not enough bracket.

I note you posted the model was 2008 GS. There were some issues with broken license plate mounts and fenders.

I replaced my 2008 fender with a Corbin with built in license plate holder. We had a broken plate frame on our 2009 RS. Dealer fixed that for us.
