• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I plugged my phone into the rear charging port using a USB adaptor. When I removed the phone and adaptor. the adaptor was a little more than warm, but noticeable. Normal or Not Normal

I noticed this once before, but didn't give it a thought. Now it is on the back of my mind.

USB adapters have a circuit in them to reduce the voltage down from 12v to 5v. In heavy use like recharging a quick charging cell phone they tend to put off some heat. As long as you don't leave it there over night you should be fine.

Hi Willie!
Do you have your rear power port configured to be a keyed source of power; or is it "hot" all of the time?

Not a Clue if it is keyed or HATT...This came installed on the Spyder in rear Trunk. I assume all RT-S's came with this in 2015.

Did pay to have a front one installed that I run the GPS's on, this one is Keyed.

Is this an option to configure HATT or NSHATT (no so hot all the time) via the Dash ??

I hardly ever use it however went out last night and wanted music, phone was low, so I figured I would take advantage.

You can make the rear one hot all the time by changing a fuse position. Look in your owners manual for the fuse locations and it will show one that says if fuse is in position __ then it is keyed and if it is in position __ it is hot. Just pull the fuse and move it to the hot position.

Come to Las Vegas where everything in your trunk is hot - keyed or not!

Don't know how you guys stand that heat. But I guess its a dry heat, but its still HOT:yikes::yikes::yikes: In Arkansas we get the heat & humidity:gaah::gaah:
