• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Have to replace rear brake pads.anyone do it?difficulty?Have all the tools and from visual inspection doesnt look too difficult.Would appreciate some input from some of the find minds on this site. Thanks in advance.

Pretty easy to do.

Remove 2 bolts to drop caliper down, remove clips and caliper bolts. Remove brake reservoir cap (the cap for the rear brakes is the one towards the front of the bike). Remove pads. Clean caliper pistons- don't let them pop out too far or you'll get air in the line. Use some kind of spanner to push them all the way in -- install new pads-- install bolts and clips. Re-install caliper onto bike. Replace cap. Take it out and break em in.......

It really is that simple for the rear-- and the fronts are not too bad either.....

Oh, if you're not using new bolts-- make sure and put some blue lock-tite on them-- but not too much.

THANK YOU FIREFLY

I will do exactly that. Thanks for the tip on preventing air in the line.I knew someone had done this.Once again firefly,THANKS!
