• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

So I had AAA tow jet blue to our dealer after this horrendous sound started coming from rear they said it was rear bearings my extended warranty covered most of it got it back Thursday noticed there's no mileage on the RO in or out they billed me for 2 sets of 2 bearings ? And the belt they replaced is riding on inside of the rear sprocket. Guess I have my Saturday afternoon spoke for. Aargh

I notice when we had my friends rear tire replaced at ROLO they checked the tube that connects the right an left bearings it was to long which will damage the bearings he shaved off one end so the tube is loose on the shaft , I will check this when I take off my tire.. If they didn't check this you will be going back for bearings again.

Good and not so good...

Glad you were covered but need to follow up with your dealers..should not have to redo their mistakes....:banghead:

They swear belt only has to be 1 mm off the edge not centered and it appears to be way too tight. BRP master tech ? I know it's a pain to get it right in the middle but that's where my green manual says it should be. What say y'all?

The spec is not in the middle it is 1 mm min from edge page 128 of operator guide. I think it is 1 to 5 mm max from edge.It will walk as you ride.

That's what they said. Looks almost on inside lip to me but there is a slight 1mm ? Gap. Guess it's ok. Gonna get my kricket out and see what it says

The belt should be just off the inside edge. The closer the better as long as it doesn't touch. You do not want the belt running in the middle. It will chafe on the front pulley if it is over that far. Sounds like they got the belt placement right. But check tension. They may have used the old spec which is way too tight. You do not want the belt too tight.

Your Krikit will tell you.

CTPS in Georgetown Melvin and Billy are both good. Just dealing with service writers is sometimes like pulling teeth. Checked it with my kricket right in specs. 35k for rear bearings isn't bad I guess. Replaced the belt while they were in there had some rock chips let's see how many I get outta this one.
Did like Rocky at coyote close to 100 miles and they weren't sure about my extended warranty and CTPS sold it to me.
