Rear Audio Control

Has anyone else experienced this?

Picked up my 2014 RT-S last week. Having a blast so far, when weather permits. I've been tinkering with the controls a bit, trying to learn everything. However, it seems that I am unable to adjust the sound volume on the passenger speakers using passenger controls. The passenger controls will allow changing of channels. Am I mistaken? I thought the passenger was also able to adjust the sound of the rear speakers. The up and down buttons don't seem to change anything.

No, the passenger control doesn’t control the volume, itdose only if you have the helmet wire system

Rear audio control for the outside speakers is shown under audio once you press the mode button enough times to get to that menu. From there you can control the distribution of sound between Front and Rear. The audio controls on the rear of the Spyder are headset only.

Good question that I had been wondering about recently myself. Thanks for the answers. Know I know and I can share with the wife who keeps playing with the controls.

Also it seems that the heated grips on the rear does not heat near as hot as on my 2012. I currently have a 2014 RT. Maybe it's just to cold to notice.

If you have a BASE RT, there are no heated rear grips - only the "S" & LTD have those. However, all the wiring is in place to add them, if you need to do so.

My wife loves the rear heated grips. Took me awhile to understand the rear audio controls
