• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Rear Audio Control

Has anyone else experienced this?

Picked up my 2014 RT-S last week. Having a blast so far, when weather permits. :) I've been tinkering with the controls a bit, trying to learn everything. However, it seems that I am unable to adjust the sound volume on the passenger speakers using passenger controls. The passenger controls will allow changing of channels. Am I mistaken? I thought the passenger was also able to adjust the sound of the rear speakers. The up and down buttons don't seem to change anything.

Thanks!!

No, the passenger control doesn’t control the volume, itdose only if you have the helmet wire system

Rear audio control for the outside speakers is shown under audio once you press the mode button enough times to get to that menu. From there you can control the distribution of sound between Front and Rear. The audio controls on the rear of the Spyder are headset only.

Good One

Good question that I had been wondering about recently myself. Thanks for the answers. Know I know and I can share with the wife who keeps playing with the controls.

Also it seems that the heated grips on the rear does not heat near as hot as on my 2012. I currently have a 2014 RT. Maybe it's just to cold to notice.

If you have a BASE RT, there are no heated rear grips - only the "S" & LTD have those. However, all the wiring is in place to add them, if you need to do so.
