• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Really enjoyed my Spyder this weekend!

I wanted to share my pleasant experience riding from Round Rock to Corpus Cristi and back this weekend (470 mi). My grandchildren moved there and my wife and I take turns visiting because we keep 4 dogs at our house, or they keep us. I put all the gifts as well as vacuum packed clothing in a large Viking bag tail bag that held tight. The Spyder performed like a champ on both 85 mph toll roads as well as curvy farm to market roads. No vibrations, held the road fine, nothing broke or fell off. It took a while to get the tires and suspension worked out, but the results are worth it. I can’t wait to go again.

Good to hear...

Glad you were able to make the trip on the spyder... is always more fun and theraputic... and there is always somewhere to go....:ohyea:

I live in Spicewood, and love riding down the 85mph toll road east of Austin. So much fun. I always go by the Circuit of the Americas and dream of the day I could race the Spyder on the track! ;)

Well... I am jealous...

... of you ryders in Texas and other warm lands. Our riding season here in Northern Indiana is just about over until Spring. I do enjoy reading about the various rydes and that way I can "ryde on" while mine is in storage. Pics of your rydes help me appreciate this great country and its wide variety of scenes.

Bigguy 66 ,
I do need to stop and take some more pics but this trip was about taking pics of the granddaughters. I do admire the folks that use helmet cameras on their trips so maybe I need to consider that as well. Cheers!

great stuff
I wasn't sure happy owners were allowed to post on the site.
There must have been something on the trip that went wrong that you could blame BRP for.
