• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Realistic discount

I am looking to buy a 2017 RT-S. What kind of realistic discount should I be getting. I was thinking at least 3000 of but really know.

The Can Am web site shows some sort of promotion up to 3500 off. But kind of implies I need to go thru the web site to get it.

I have seen 1k dealer discount from dealerships on the 2017. The big savings will not start til sometime in Sept.

Think of the time lost: waiting to squeeeeeeeze that extra little last bit of savings out of the deal.

Ia it REALLY worth it? :dontknow:

Dealers around here tend to offer the biggest discount on current years inventory as soon as new model years become available. They also will toss in an extra year BEST warranty for free. Absent any major model changes, I would wait to buy a "left over" and save three to four grand. If you're not committed to buying a new vehicle, there are many well loved and maintained bikes available. Finding one that is still under warranty is important. I bought a 2014 RTL with a month left on the BEST warranty. Had the warranty extended for another two years. And I paid little more than half of what my friend paid for his new 2015. Virtually the same bikes.

Good luck and stay cool

Discounts are going to depend on the dealer. The current promotion from BRP on 2016 or earlier ($3,500 off) and 0% financing are pretty good.

Discounts on current years are a bit harder to come by. Some dealers are greedy, and some are hungry. The difficult part is to find the right one.
