• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

ready to winterize

Stabil, then top off. Ride enough to make sure the treated fuel is through the whole system. Change oil and filters, wash, dry, wax. Plug the battery into the Tender, and sleep until spring.

Bunny hop..!!

doesn't matter..hop three times on the left peg then three times on the right peg followed three bounces on the seat and last fire it up so to run some through the injectors...now follow the steps above with one added caution. Cover so as not to suffer seeing it and protect from rodents...hope it will be a short wait..!!

I prefer to add the Stabil first, at the gas pump, then fill. That mixes the stabilizer with the fuel. The ride home distributes it through the system.

Are you sure that you're ready to put it to sleep?
The temperatures this next week should get up near almost 60 down by you... :dontknow:

along with stable, battery tender, full tank of gas, put these in your frunk, under your seat, and if you are a rt owner in your saddle bags, and trunk. the mice and chipmunks do not like this stuff. I put it in my wife's BMW convertible as wellIMG_0412[1].jpg

It's an automatic battery charger for your battery. Just connect the leads to your battery and plug it in, keeps battery topped off and floats it at 100%.

It's also got the benefit of some electronic wizardry inside it's box, that monitors the charging rate and the battery's condition; adjusting the charge as needed...

I am new. What is a battery tender?

Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
I just picked up the Deltran Battery Tender Plus at Costco. I think it was 39.99.
its supposed to be fully automatic. My question is, do I need to remove the battery to connect it to the tender or can I leave it in my :spyder2: And connect it to the tender? Thanks.

Yup!
The Deltrans will happily keep your battery ready to go without interference from you! :D I leave mine plugged in for Months at a time.

Dryer sheets in and around the Spyder

Besides using air refresheners, I use snuggle or any other brand of dryer sheets used in your clothes dryer. These to suppose to keep the rodents away as they suppose to dislike this "nice" smell. Putting them in the trunks, etc. leaves them smelling nice in the spring. I usually use 8-10 of these sheets in and around my Spyder when I put the bike away for the winter.
