I am reading the owners manual, and I noticed one odd sentence, who knows there may be more!

This is for shifting out of reverse on an RT SE6.


To shift out of reverse, stop vehicle and push on upshift selector quickly to shift into neutral and more longer to shift in
first gear.

Actually it seems to be true. While holding the selector down, a quicker action on the shifter will bring it to neutral. A longer action on the paddle will put it in first. :thumbup:

There is a subtle difference between the two of them, and I'm not sure if one is actually "gooder', or "better", that the other!

That may depend on what part of the Country you live in...

Around here: it has been largely replaced by this:

Residing very close to the W. PA line I believe that it should be "more gooder" or perhaps the most extreme, "Most goodest".

The great thing about this approach is that your answer is potentially a useless or dangerous collection of "internet wisdom". Another case where you really need to have some idea what the real answer should be before you put any credence in the answers you receive. This holds especially true when technical information is requested.

Hey guys, give Flyboyron a break! He's new here so probably is not familiar with all the jabs and ribs a posting like this will elicit.

Actually, he is pointing out a common problem in translations. Keep in mind the first language in Quebec is French, and they probably do the majority of work at BRP using French, including writing manuals. The person who did the translation is probably not expert in American English, and such phrases as "more longer" are the result. I don't know diddly about French language, but those of you who do can maybe tell me if the French sentence structure might actually be "more longer" when translated literally.

You see some really odd stuff in English manuals that are written by Chinese.
