There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Re-installing rear trunk lock

Was wondering if anybody has any info on re-installing rear trunk lock. I'm getting a new main control/release handle unit for my 2015 RT-S SE6. Need to remove the lock cylinder from the damaged one and install in the new unit. Thanks.

My Green service manual does not go into any detail. But once you remove the rear panel, PN depends on your color, there are 4 Torx M6X10 screws that hold the Main Control, PN 708302620 in place. Left to my own devices I would take photos and make notes of each step in removing the MC and the lock cylinder has to be held in place some kind of clip ring or some such device. You should be prepared for a single ball holds the cylinder in the correct orientation. I've had my real panel off only once years ago to install a plug and play brake light modulator and ignored the MC because its removal was not part of the job.
