• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

raw design power puc?

i might have change of plans i tried to wire them but seems like the strips on outside of wheel takin away from the clean look of the chrome wheel does that sound right?

I totally understand what you're saying. With chrome rims, you'll see everything that's not chrome. You're right in your thinking on that.

In my case, my rims are black, so from a distance you can't even see that there is anything on the rim. So front lights work for me.

Oh wow....what a difference. The one on the right is ROCKIN!

The wiring looks pretty good too. No one is gonna see see that. Good job.

No doubt, you're gonna have the baddest led wheels around. Good thing you're not near me, because you'd outshine me and get all the attention....:D:bowdown:.....lol

Yes, I'm nearly done, just all of the little small stuff that's holding me up. Nit-picky stuff....

The wiring is tough. This project is definitely not for the masses. It's for people who will work their butt off to have something cool and unique.

Looking back on what I know now, I would have taken my wheels off, shipped them to Raw Design, have them wire the wheels, ship them back to me, and I put them back on. I would have saved hours of time and headache.

In fact, if it wasn't for shipping costs, this would be the best way to go.

I haven't checked with them on it, but I have no doubt they would accept my idea. They know that this is taking people days to accomplish, and they can do it in a matter of hours, and probably have it shipped out the next day. If the person is willing to pay shipping, there's no way they wouldn't do this.

This thought hit me a week ago, but if I had thought of it a month ago, I would have called Raw Design and asked them to consider my idea....

So about 600 bucks for them to do it. Hmmm....they need to discount that some for people who can't do it.

YEP i know a custom shop down here that i pick their brain for ideas plus raw design pointed me to go to them before I even asked raw who they would advise
