• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

We'd like to head out to South Dakota, can anyone tell me if there is a spring or fall gathering anywhere near Rapid City?

Thanks,
Rick

Not sure about events. Lots of things to see around that area. Mount Rushmore,Crazy Horse,Wind Cave

Stay away from Wall SD.. That has changed a lot since I first went there.

There is no good places to eat in that town. except a Saloon (Wall SD)

Make sure you fill up as I found gas stations a far and few in between while driving thru SD

The Pioneer Auto Museum was a Trip..My first time there

By "gathering" do you mean Spyders? The 3 Wheeler Rally is in July. Lots of other stuff to see and do out here though.

Yeah, I was referring to Spyder gatherings. I don't wanna go out there in the hottest part of the year. If we go, it would be spring or fall, and try to hit the popular spots. I assume July is a "cooker" there.:yikes:

Points of interest:

I would like to give a positive revue on Wall. Lots of tourist gift shops and you can get good deals on Black Hills Gold if you are an astute shopper. Good eats at both Wall Drug (they have a couple restaurants) and the Cactus Café across the street. The Badlands National Park across the highway is a must see. Cedar Pass Lodge there has great buffalo burgers and Indian fry bread.
