• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Ranking My RT Mods

:thumbup: Thanks for the summary.....well worded and to the point. I haven't tried any of these mods, but I am interested in some. Your review will help when that time comes. I did try Lamont's Corbin seat, and it was very uncomfortable to me, but that is just me. With my bony butt, I am uncomfortable in an easy chair. :D I would add the ESI Muflap Lights to the list...great visibility improvement. The various third brake lights are also good additions. Looking forward to trying the new 2011 RT windshield, although there isn't as much need for more air in this climate, and buffeting would increase. My favorite mod was probably my trailer hitch.

Thanks again for the summary. Reviews like this really help others make good decisions.

TMI Scotty! :yikes::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

RCPILOT82 - In our experience, the Corbin armrests don't move around, but my 5'6" wife said they were about 1/2 inch too high, she either had to hunch her shoulders or push her elbows outward. Still waiting for Corbin to post the expected cup holder bolt-on accessory, too.

3Ryder, Custom Dynamics (I believe they own the Street Magic line), tells me that the Triple Play is made only for the RS and not the RT. They also said they couldn't say that the Triple Play would not work on an RT but that it is not designed for it. Did you have any problems with it on your RT, either with installation or function?

Could you please be a bit more specific on the benefits of the Power Commander? Did it result in any improvement in gas mileage?

A very informative post. Thanks.

Mike

See the note: Please call for information on 2010 RT Triple Play Upgrade Conversion

What that means is that you need to remove the two tail lights and send them in for fitment of the Triple Play. Turnaround is very quick. Price is higher, but the end product is worth it, in my opinion. Evan was extremely helpful in explaining removal of the tail lights and re-installation.

... but you loose the amber turn signals, and the cost is several hundred dollars more, than on an RS because the work is a tremendous amount more for Evan to do. at least it was when I checked around this time last year. Everything is red, you loose the amber flashing turn signal which in my opinion for changing lanes with vehicles in the near vicinity is better. I think to go with the third brake light. is my single best mod.
