• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Ram Mount Tips

Recently bought a dash mount and Ram Mounts so could put my garmin more at eye level. However, it seems no matter how tight I hand tighten it still jiggles around, any helpful tips that will work to get Ram Mount to stay in place?

Foam Weather Strip.

I simply put a piece of 1/2" foam weather stripping on the bottom of my Garmin 660 that is dash mounted. The RAM mount holds it but the foam keeps it from moving at all. The Garmin sits on the dash with the foam in-between. It has worked great for thousands of miles. The ram mount is attached to a JT style mounting rack that I copied from his site.

I had that problem too. I solved it by putting a piece on velcro that is about 1/2" long and 1/4" wide on the bottom of the gps bracket. Both pieces is stuck to the gps bracket. The bracket stays stuck to the dash and the gps is just far enough back to not touch the dash

I also put a small piece of velcro on the bottom of my Tomtom, and on the dash. GPS attached to a JT bar with a 6" Ram arm. Works great
