• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Does anybody use the RAM mounts and what model do you have, and where do mount it. Looks like it will mount on the handle on the right side .:dontknow:

I had one mounted on the right handlebar on Nancy's, but we prefer it mounted on the CHAD adjusting bracket, so I stole the handlebar mount and put it on my 1972 BMW.

so i see that you mounted on the black plastic piece. Mine has rotation on it, after you clamp down on it will stop rotating. I was going to put it on the silver part, buy couldn't find a RAM that would fit.

No, I removed the black plastic piece. You can cut it off, or remove the right control and slip it off. Then you use a u-bolt mount that fits 7/8" handlebars. On an SM, you can also use a RAM mount on the left, that screws to the top of the clutch master cylinder.

Removed the safety card and mounted it in the centre ,can keep your line of vision straight ahead.Bought the Ram mount items from gps city online.[Cradle ,1.5" ext. and ball mount.]

If you don't pull out the safety card, it is recorded in the ECM. When you get to the pearly gates, they will have your entire, sordid record. Then you will have to pay the piper! :joke:

There's a safety card on these things. My dealer just told me to flick the mode switch and where to fill the fuel tank. :D:D:D
