• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Ram Mount for Spyder

I've been meaning to post this for the past couple of weeks. Like many others, I've been looking for places to mount my cameras (GoPro and Contour) on the Spyder. I've seen a lot of great and creative solutions posted; however, I have a habit of moving my cameras around to capture different perspectives.

I stumbled across a Ram Mount product that matches perfectly to the Spyder's many M6 threads. I like the solution because it's simple, sturdy and easy to move/reposition around the Spyder.

I've uploaded a few photos to share.

Regards,
Stanley

I have mounted my gopro in many places on the spyder. I wasn't satisfied with any of those places d/t the gopro picking up the spyder's vibration, which is noticeable when viewing the video.

I've used various RAM mounts, and the suction mount that comes with the gopro, which is supposed to be good up to 200 mph. I even purchased an "adaptiv mount", which was supposed to lessen any vibration.

The only place I found where there is no vibration is on my helmet.
