• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Rally Rear Spring Adjustment

So I understand how to adjust the rings. But WTF is the distance they are referring to? Where do you measure from and to? Also what is that snap ring looking thing around the threads. I swear this manual is worthless.

The snap ring represents the stop for the adjustment (keeping the toothed ring from coming off the threads). Measurement is from the toothed ring to the snap ring. I found the measurement on mine to be 3/8 inch rather than the 1/4 inch specified in the owners manual. I weigh 155 lbs and found that adjusting to 1/4 inch gave me a better ride.

So there are 2 toothed rings. Do you measure from the snap ring to the first toothed ring? I'm assuming the toothed ring closest to the snap ring is just a jam ring for the one against the spring? Correct?

Great post... first time I got any clear info on the Rally rear shock adjustment. The manual shows one that does not look at all like mine...
Youtube hasn't caught up yet, so how did you get this info? Here's a pic of my rear shock...
