• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I bought the Women's Sweet T Rain Suit, from Motorcycle Superstore for 69.95. I bought the same size as my jacket and there is plenty of room, not tight at all.

If I remember right, mine was called Road Toad. It does not say that on jacket itself. Hi-vis green top with black pants. It was the next one from basic. I was a little concerned about it being heavier then basic, but seem to work great in real hot weather.

I had a set of the origal for several years.

Wanted to give a thumbs up for Frogg Toggs. Took my bike in yesterday for the 6000 miles checkup. 70 miles one way. As I prepared to leave the dealership, I noticed the clouds looked very menacing. This would be a good time to try out my Frogg Togg rain suit. I put on the jacket only. Well the rain did come but I stayed dry. My new 23' windshield from Cee Bailey helped also.
Though this might help someone with their decision.

I carry Firstgear, Frogg Toggs and River Road rain gear. I can usually beat anyone's price on them. But if you can find them for less, you know you're getting an incredible deal!

I tried frog toggs. Didn't care for them. The wind here is horrible when it rains. So... Believe it or not. I went to academy and bought my rain gear. LOVE THEM!! It has Velcro around all the areas you could get wet. And a nice elastic piece inside the leg to go around my boot with a strap to also go under the boot and hold it down so the wind can't pull it up. Best rain gear I have found yet. And only 40 dollars for the set

I note this is an older post (2012)--but--18 out of 32 recommended the Frogg Toggs.

Other threads talking rain gear seem to say pretty much the same. I use first gear which is water repellent, but know it costs a whole lot more.

I just bought my wife a new suit Frog Toggs and they have them on sale on Amazon complete suit with storage bag for 45.00

Since the post was resurrected . . . Frogg Toggs are very affordable and I've been through torrential thunderstorms in them, and stayed dry . . . but it depends on how often you ride in the rain, as to their real value. They do tend to wear out in the seat . . . if I lived somewhere it rained more frequently, I'd go for something more substantial . . . but for me, they fill the bill, quite well.

Like alot of folks said , Frog Toggs , small, light weight, easy to pull on in a hurry, and can be added as an exrta layer if it gets a little chilly even if it's not raining.
