• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Rain Suit size? Go big or stay the same?

I'm getting ready to order a set of rain suits for the wife and I. Looking at Nelson Rigg AS-3000's. I'm wondering about size. Do they just make them bigger or do you just go 1 size bigger than you normally wear? Thanks for the help. :chat:

Sorry not the question asked but Get boots that go over you boots and up your leg. Cycle gear sells them on line they work great. Wetcold feet are very hard on the system.
To your question, I would go to a store were you can try them on expecially the boots be sure to have on your riding boots.

I have found that every brand fits a little differently and it is hard to pick the "right" size without trying them on. I sure have not seen any reliable rule of thumb for rain suits in general. Hopefully someone has nelson riggs and can comment.. that is one of the few I have not had..

I use TourMaster, and tend to buy larger... If it's wet; it's also probably cold... This way I can keep the normal layering underneath intact.

I have Olimpia mesh jacket and pants, they came with a removable rain liner . I also have a rain jacket and pants, brought one size larger so I can put them on easy and keep layered when it is cool.

I have nelson rigg.
Stayed wit the size i wear fits good. Plenty of room.

Love them. try not to use them but there if i need:thumbup:

:agree: Always buy bigger so it fits over your clothes. When the rain comes, you can slip it right over your clothes. When it stops, you slip out of it.

Living in Arizona, I'm a real expert on riding in the rain :roflblack:

There's an added benefit to buying the next larger size... :D
As the bacon-cheeseburgers pile up; it'll still fit! :2thumbs:

RAIN SUIT

I also have the Tourmaster two piece suit, buy a little bigger than you need, sometimes you have to wear It over a jacket. They are not the cheapest but It Is the best rain suit I ever had.[IT DOES NOT LEAK]
