• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Rain Gear

I am fairly new to riding and was wondering what you would recommend for rain gear. I have done some research and from what I can tell for low-to-medium pricing, Frog Toggs and Tour Master Elite II seem to be fairly popular. I am tending to lean towards the Tour Master since they go lower on the back and are not all black. They seem to be build a little better as well. Storage on the RT is of concern as well. The Tour Master seems to be more bulky than the Frog Toggs. I would love some input from the knowledge base here since it not a ton of money, but when you buy 2 suites, you would like that money to be well spent.

Thanks a ton in advance.

I am partial to the TourMaster one-piece suits...less places for the wind to push rain up and find me and my clothes...

Thanks all. I finally bit the bullet and picked up a set of Tour Masters for myself and my wife. Funny thing is, I had to special order mine from the store we purchased at. Later that day, we got caught in a downpour. Guess that is what I get for procrastinating... :(

This was discussed recently http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/s...highlight=rain I didn't look at the thread but I'm sure you'll get some good info from it.

SpyderAnn; thanks for the link to the discussion. That helped...
