• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

RAIN GEAR (Best brand & Best Price)

There are so many versions of Frogg Toggs. I looked at Cabela's today, and really didn't like the ones that they had. No velcro at the sleeves, just elastic, the legs around ankles had no adjustment or stirup, and they sell them seperate, pants and jackets. There was a different feel to all the ones that they had. They had the pro jacket. Kind of felt like the woven paper/plastic shopping bags you can buy for a dollar, at the store. They are super light weight and would fold up easily.
Bought wife a Nelson Riggs 6000 yesterday, but didn't have my size. Not sure of it though, I think that it will stick to you when it gets hot. Vinyl lined. I have also been looking at a Joe Rocket. Thanks for all the input, whether I buy Frogg Toggs or not, your info is very appreciated. I like input on things, especially when it comes to spending money on something.

Yeah, the Frog Toggs feel like they're made out of paper towels, but they do an incredible job of shedding rain. The advantage is that they are lightweight and don't take up much of your precious cargo space.

There are many choices. The ultimate decision is up to you.

Check this suit out......

Take a look at this from Leatherup.com

http://www.leatherup.com/p/Mens-Mot...otorcycle-Rainsuit-With-Boot-Strap/95662.html

My wife and I have worn these for three years and have never had a problem. I agree with you in that I did not want to spent a lot of money for something that I only wear once in a while. It does fold up nice and will easily fit in the door of the side compartments, with the elastic net keeper installed, on my RT. The best part is that the price is right for only $39.95. This suit has all of the features that you were looking for. :sour:

Ready to buy some frog togg road toads suits for my lady and I, two things I am concerned about that I have read and wanted others opinions who have these suits.

1. The pants soak through in the crotch area?

2. The pants legs do not have straps to keep the legs down and ride up?

Miss Pam,
My lady wanted me to ask which set of frogg toggs you have and is there anything she should do in choosing size?

I have had a set of Frogg Toggs for years, and love them. They feel like they would come apart in the wind and rain, but they are super strong, and work great. Very light weight, and like pampurrs said, they take up very little room when folded or rolled.

I would have to second the First Gear rain suit that I got from BajaRon this spring before Spyderfest. I have had Frogg Toggs and also suffered the rain in the crotch issue. I have been very pleased with the First Gear suit and it is very easily compacted to the point I can put both the top and bottom inside my helmet and then put my helmet in the trunk.

I just bought three sets of the highly rated Frogg Togs from Amazon. Free two day shipping with prime. $140.00

I too vote for Frogg Toggs, and if you order from their web site, you don't have to buy a complete suit, but an mix and match from different models to get the features and sizes you want. That means you can buy a large jacket and small pants, if that is what you need. You can alson get the features you want in the pants and jackets, they have manys styles and most have different features.

Toggs

Just another vote for Frogg Toggs! Used a number of times, never leaked, rolls up small enough,( 2 two suits and a 1/2 cover easily fit on the trunk rack), reasonable price.

Saved our bacon on Sonora Pass ( about 9,000ft) when we hit rain and even a bit of snow on the wat to the NORCAL :spyder2: rally.
