• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Rain Cover

SPYDER STALKER
We saw several Spyders in Gatlinburg with colorful rain covers and would like to know where to get one?

This fancy blue one was $ 4.00 at Harbor Freight.... plus another $ 4.00 for the bungees. :roflblack:

While it did the job----- and got pitched on the way home---- I would like some kind of inexpensive rain cover too---- not for the entire bike--- just the seat and grips.

Guess it would have helped if I attached the pic......

The travel cover accessory BRP offers for the new RT makes a lot of sense. Just covers the windshield and seat and rear trunk. Too bad they don't offer a similar one for the RS, in addition to the full cover. I wonder if a tent & awning maker could sew one for us.

Seat rain cover

Go to CycleShade.com, $49.00 plain, $59.00 with colored emblems, I am getting ready to order one, saw several at Lamonte's BBQ:ohyea:

Qwik shade

Got my qwik shade cover just last week. It's not water proof, but it helps keep the sun off the seat- as well as other peoples butts. I bought a medium and it covers from the front turn signals to the back turn signals.:2thumbs:
still need to try and scotch guard it as it is not waterproof. hope it keeps the rain off my tank bag!:dontknow:

Both that one and the CycleShades aren't really for rain protection----- which is what I would want--- would have been nice in TN to use that instead of the big tarp......
When we go somewhere we carry the BRP outdoor cover in a camping stuffsack. Doesn't take that much room. Of course the way you pack you might have had to leave behind a week or so worth of underwear. :joke:
