• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

 What year and model is your Spyder? They didn't offer the RT back in 2008...
Acting on the assumption that it is an RT though... The OEM system would easily offer up the best integration with your bike... You can often find the needed pile of parts at discounted prices on EBay, so shop carefully and wisely.
You also might want to check and make sure that your dealer will install an accessory item that they didn't sell to you; I've heard of some dealers who won't do the work if they didn't make the sale... :gaah:

If it is an RS as I suspect being an 08 model I would suggest what I did. I added a Garmin 550 GPS ($450) and a XM antenna for it ($100). It mounts on the handle bar (mount supplied with the unit) and provides, GPS, XM Radio, and an MP3 player as well as telephone blue tooth connectivity. It's all in a pretty compact package and easy to install. You can use a blue tooth helmet or earbuds to hear the sound. You could hook up a small preamp and speakers as well.

you can also get a scala rider that attaches to your helmet and has speakers in your helmet and also has fm radio and bluetooth connectivity. do a search for scal rider and there is plenty of info on the web.

What type of speakers

I have the RS 09 series. What speakers and can you show me a pic of the installation on your bike?
