• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Radio question for the experts

It was an extra, I had the cb, intercomm and headsets all done by the dealer when I purchased my limited. The rider socket is in the center of the switches inbetween the heated grip switch and rear suspension switch.

The passenger socket is to the rear of the grab bar on the left side. Does not come as standard even on the limited.

:agree:, but you have to have the CB/Intercom package installed before those connections will be available. Unfortunately, the intercom is not standard on the LTD. :banghead:

Radio problems

I have had the same problem with the radio on my 2011 rt. I have brp headsets. They are replacing the radio unit under warranty.

Cord cover

Cords are plugged right into the BRP connector. Making the marks on the dash......easy cure for this .I took a short piece of #12 electrical wire ( black ) and wrapped it around the connector and coiled it up the cord about 3 inches. Works like a charm and almost invisible.

Dealer does not have cords in stock.....what I was told awhile back.Plus the fact it doesn't happen every time makes it hard to use another riders headset..

Cord is correct one according to Sierra , just got off phone with them. Said it is pinned correctly and pinned to where it's supposed to be pinned . Sierra said ...if you can't solve the problem blame it on someone else.

We've had problems with the cords marking the finish on other bikes so my wife made cord covers for them. She'll even embroider a slogan, your name, or just "Spyder" on them in the color you want. cordcover.jpg
