• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I was wanting to install a radio and speakers on my 2013 RSS and was wanting to see what others are doing? I have seen speakers with an MP3 setup but that is not what I am looking for.

JL Audio Slam Pack with Wireless Bluetooth for IPod

I have that installed.. a little pricey but it sounds fantastic.... also eats up alot of trunk space with sub. I like the bass but you can also just go with speakers.

SHARK 600 WATT

I had one of these on my GS......the AMP is very small, speakers are easy to mount on windshield supports....As far as the radio goes it had one but unless you have a very good antenna reception is marginal........Even the OEM radio on the RT isn't great unless you get a good antenna.......However the Shark works really well with an MP-3 or I-pod etc.......PM " Napper ".............Lamont also had a Shark for His wife.........PS, only get one with a " WIRED REMOTE " ....Mike :bbq:

Little checking..l

There is a thread here talking about the Kicker system. All my music is in my head...well helmet threw a scala G9 and is the best for me....

Check shark audio it has am/fm,MP3, Bluetooth, and a audio in. Did the same set up that jtpollock did. Amazon has them in different colors and watts. Make you get the one with a wired remote so you can control it.

Just to put my two cents in, I did all of the above. Took it out and now run Sena 20 and 10 with XM Sat radio/Ipod. With my 72 year old ears I found this more to my liking. Love the blue tooth intercom and phone connect. Good luck as there is a gob of stuff out there.

MMMM Kicker subwoofers.. ALL sorts of yes. I used to beat the ever loving stuff out of my old Comps and when I was able to afford it I got Solobaric's..... The good old days of my car flexing, WHAT did you say something?

I looked very hard into JL Audio, since I tend to spend hours at a time on my spyder. I just couldn't justify dropping $1200 on music that I would have to crank up to hear on highway or interstate, which is where I mostly ride, losing trunk space, and would have to drill holes into my stuffs. I ended up adding a Sena 10u to my Shoei helmet for a fraction of the cost. It has built in FM radio with decent reception and I can stream audio and turn by turn directions from my phone. Even comes with a clip on handlebar remote for easy control. Since doing that, I haven't looked back.

That being said, with the JL Audio stuffs, you can add any marine grade FM radio to the audio input. It really does have great sound output.
