• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Have 18 F3 Limited.
Radio worked fine first 800 miles. Works fine with just ignition on, Soon as you start it get just static ,

Anyone have any ideas and where to look?

TIA

Did you install LED fog lights? If so turn your fog lights off and see how the radio is. If the radio now plays with the fog lights off, call either SpyderPops or Lamont for a solution

:agree: .... this is a common problem with some LED headlights .... I had great radio reception until I switched to LED's ..... they were replaced by the vendor and no further issues ..... Mike

Does the audio system static sound like this on your Spyder. If so, here's my detailed explanation of what's required to resolve the static if it's the same issue. My first post about this issue goes into further detail of what I've been experiencing only to discover this is quite common on every 2018 model Spyder including some 2019 models, but not all.

I hope this will help.
