Radiator Openings

Is it normal for the radiator openings to have one with a cover and the other with out. One side on mine has a nice black plastic honeycomb type cover the other has nothing.

If you go to the BRP website and select the 360 view it looks like the black plastic webbed cover is on both sides of Spyder.

They took down the 2010/360 view but it showed up even clearer.

This year as well as last it shows the LH cover by the rear wheels painted silver.
Mine is black & every other RT I've seen is too.

hmmm.... maybe I have too much time on my hands.

Those are just illustrations...not photos. What an artist produces for advertising sometimes bears scant resemblance to the real deal. Remember the automobile advertising of the Fifties and Sixties?

I have one of thiers on my spyder now, but the fit wasnt what I expected. All other Kewlmetal stuff I have fit great.

With a fire place when you put a screen in front, It will block a lot of heat.
Could be why BRP didn't think it's a good idea to screen off that vent.?

Yup waiting on mine. Say jody here is an idea free off charge but just a little credit would be fine. How about making one for the other side of coarse people would have to cut out the opening maybe package a template with it? this way the bike looks symetrical. Of coarse i'am talking about an rs model
