• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Radar Detector Install - where; and any recommendations as to type?

I have always used Escort radar detectors. I use an Escort Radar Max 360 GPS enabled mounted to my dash via ram mounting system. The Max 360 was an older model that I adapted for the motorcycle. I use a Max 360C in my cars. I have a small custom made LED Visual Alert mounted to the top of the radar detector. The LEDs brightly flash instead of hearing a beep (or not hear the beep while riding). The Escort 360 and 360c are both bluetooth enabled and are connected to my phone. Here are a few photos of how I mounted everything. PM me if you need help or have any questions.

Here is my setup. Uniden R1. RAM magnetic mount. Zipties added for additional security. Can be removed in seconds. Power cord is routed near mirror to an accessory fuse box. Anyone who says a radar detector doesnt work, has not owned an R1. It saved me again today with an alert @ 2 miles!!.

How well does the adhesive base stick on the dash of an 2012 RTS? I had a suction cup holder that I was met with VERY BAD results, came off dash straight to road :sour

The 3M red tape double sided tape is extremely good at holding yet it's not difficult to remove if needed. I use it to hold my RD, XM radio and the pedal commander mounts. 5000 mi and still solidly holding. Best to clean surfaces w/alcohol 1st.
