• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Race Day

So who else is making it an 1100 mile's worth of racing day?
Since I'm blessed with an innate "Couch Potato" instinct, I'll be feet up at noon and settling in for Indy. That ought to take me to the pre-race stuff for Charlotte, and by then the Missus will have been ticked-off enough to have given up and will leave me alone for the rest of the evening... WOO-HOO! :2thumbs:

I like your approach to this 'race issue' Bob!! May just adopt that very format myself, with one little exception....set the DVR to get a some time 'in the bank' (so I can forward thru commercials) jump on the Spyder for a little cruise......to the ice cream store, of course.....then back for some meaningful 'Potato Time'!! :ohyea::ohyea::ohyea:

I'm working in portions of them, in between changing the oil on the RTS, mowing the lawn, etc. In all honesty, I miss the old days when we listened to the 500 on the radio. We could just do whatever we wanted, and listen while we worked or played.

I wish.:sour:

Wife invited people over so I'm stuck "making the house pretty":gaah:

Too hot today to ride ( 90's ) perfect day to sit in the air con and watch racing. Hoping to see most of the 600 tonight.

Should still be able to listen to it on MRN. You just need to find a channel that carries it.

Watched a little of the 500, but I'm all in for the 600:thumbup:. Bob, surprised your wife is buggin you at all since she got the mini. Nice car BTW...

Danny, you've been doin alot of ice cream runs lately.. Think i'll hop on the spyder and get me some.. i'm several behind ya

I got home from riding and decided to watch the 600 live since I had only missed about 150 laps. I was planning on watching Indy later but they just said who won so I guess I'll just wait for the highlights at eleven.

I watched Indy off & on....the shoot-out at the end was pretty exciting!

To be totally honest Rob some of those ice cream runs I mention never materialize....in the interests of cardiac health....but the one today did....AND I picked up two boxes....just in case of a couple green, white, checker finishes! :p:D

We keep the ice cream nearby all of the time...
But that's why we run the rear suspension at about 65psi too! :roflblack:
Got tjhe bike prepped for a run to Syracuse on Wednesday. An afternoon of Continuing Education requirements... We might just have to take it out for a run for MORE ice cream... just to make sure that tire and suspension pressures and the oil level are in fact correct! :D
We did manage to grind out about 200 miles of ryding this weekend too!

We watched all 1100 miles of the races yesterday. Akspyderlady is an avid fan of racing--so we enjoyed the day together. It was cool and rainy all day yesterday--so--no need to feel bad about not riding the :spyder2:.

Both races were very entertaining to watch.
