R.I.P. James Bond

Not the fictional one .... the REAL one - Sean Connery ray:ray:ray:ray: ............... 90 years young .... As a lad, I had already read a few of Ian Flemings novels .... and was thrilled when they came out with a Movie version....... Whenever I hear the name " James Bond " .... His face comes to mind ..... Yes there were many others some good, some weak, but to me Sean was the best ....... Mike :thumbup:

Yeah. I mean, Sir Sean was 90 and in poor health so he wasn't long for this world but it was still a shame to hear he passed. He was one of my cinematic heroes. He was opinionated (he felt 200% that Scotland should be a country, independent from England...had a "Scotland Forever" tattoo since his teens...wouldn't even let that opinion go when he was knighted by HRH Queen Elizabeth II...that's sticking to your guns!) but he wasn't mean or rude about it. Great actor, won 3rd place in the '53 Mr. Universe contest, etc. He will be missed even though he retired from acting long ago.

RIP, Sir Sean Connery.

I just realized that Sean Connery made 7 007 movies. RIP

In my opinion, there was only 1 007 (James Bond), and that was without doubt, Sean Connery. All of the others were wannabe’s....NOT the real thing.

RIP Sir Sean. We lost another great one. IMO: he was by far, the best Agent 007. Others just did not seem to have his class.

I also enjoyed many of his other movies, and thought he was great in the Indiana Jones movie, League of Extraordinary Men, and Outland. He was great, regardless of the genre played.
