• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

R-35 Saddlebag Question

I have the Corbin Full Face helmet trunk and Im considering the R-35 Saddlebags. Does the Corbin trunk interfere with repositioning the turn signals when mounting the R-35. Just wondering if any has or have seen this set up. You may ask why the R-35 well price and because the Corbin Saddlebags are not removable luggage.

Any thoughts?

Thanks.

If you go to Corbin's website, they state in the fit note that the canam givi bag mount will interfer with the trunk, because of where the turn signals are relocated. One thing you could consider is adding the Givi R35 bag LED light kit from ESI. They can be used as additional turn signals along with your original turn signals, as well as additional lights and brake light with the proper wire harness. You can also eliminate the turn signal stalks from the mounts and just use the bag lights as your main turn signals. Evan from ESI can give you more accurate information in regards to this setup. Without the stalks the Corbin trunk would fit in place along with the Givi bags with no problem I'm sure. I have the Givi bags with the ESI light kit and the Corbin Smuggler trunk. I like this setup for myself. I can tell you that those turn signals from ESI are really bright. Just a thought to consider!

I use the ESI lights on the R-35 bags as tail lights (running lights) which are on all of the time. They are fabulous for this purpose, even in the daytime.
At night, I want all of the illumination I can get, for safety. Maybe you should consider selling the Corbin top box and getting a Givi V-46. Admore makes LED lights for the V-46 which function as directional lights, tail lights, and stop lights. They are great. ESI doesn't make lights for the V-46.
