I have a 2008 Spyder GS and need to replace the battery.

battery type and #

I have a 2008 Spyder GS and under the seat there is a knob that says pull, I haver tried so I have no idea what it does, I need a battery number so I can go and get a battery for lots less than the dealership. Thanks in advance for any advive.

Spyder GS Stock Batt. is a YUASA (21AH) #YTX24HL-BS or equivalent :doorag:

battery removel

how do you remove the battery on a 2008 gs?

Remove left side panel that says Can-Am - 4 torx bolts
Remove long left panel that has the rear turn signal attached to it - 5 bolts 2 plastic rivets
Mark one side of the turn signal wires so you know how they hook back up and then unhook the wires and set panel aside

Now you can see the battery under the rear seat.
