• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Quiet Day at Work, nice Day for a ride

Seems my Midsummer workload has trailed off, so today I got to do some mid-week cruising around central MN. Stopped by the wife's office and snapped this pic, My Spyder with a few of their RARE Aircraft just back from Oshkosh 2017, where they won several EAA Awards. You'd have to see these planes to truly understand how beautiful they each are. Anyway, Thought this was a good juxtaposition of technologies.

Distant cousins maybe? BRP parent is a plane maker from way back and I think Rotax started as an aircraft engine maker. Maybe someone else can fill in the connection better?

Hi Pete,

Re: an aircraft engine maker

Rotax engines are still very popular with the home-built aircraft crowd.

My wife is the Red Baron's Office Manager, (though she was a C-5/C-17 Crew Chief back in the day), Anyone notice they're all Trike's (eh?) and that's Harmon Rabb Jr's plane in the background too!
Here's another shot from a different angle, there's one more RARE taildragger deeper in the hanger in this shot
