the release cable if you attach this you can pull on the cable and actually release the trunk if you lock your keys inside with only removal of the maintenance panel

What a great idea. Got my key locked in the trunk a couple of weeks ago, I was 60 miles away from home, no tools, no help, nothing. Had to tow Spyder to the closest dealer (30 miles) for a technician to unlock my trunk. I must do this mod, 'cause I know it'll happen again
Can you please give me a little more info on how to do this mod?

Really hang a duplicate generic key around your neck or keep in your wallet cmon folks this is not rocket science
